SALON POLICIES

OPEN STYLIST POLICY

We are a professional beauty team and we are pleased to have guests work with all members of our staff. If you feel like you would like a fresh point of view or would like to try another staff member, let us know! We would love to accommodate you in every way we can.

CANCELATION POLICY

In the event that you must cancel your reservation, be sure to provide at least a 48 hour notice. This allows the opportunity to contact any guests who are currently on a waitlist to fill that time slot. Any reservations that are cancelled in under 24 hour notice are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of all scheduled services.

LATE POLICY

We value all of our guest's time and make every effort to start reservations on time. While we understand being late is at times unavoidable, if you are 15 minutes or more late, you are choosing to forfeit your reservation time which will result in rescheduling or modifying your service due to scheduling commitments with other guests.

NO-SHOW POLICY

Failure to show to your reservation will result in a No-Show fee of 50% of your scheduled services and a permanent ban on making any future reservations.

RESERVATION POLICY

We kindly ask that you do not bring anyone to your reservation. If a child is receiving a service,  only the parent or legal guardian may accompany them.

EXTENSION POLICY

All extension services are final sale. All deposits or retainers are nonrefundable. Extension services canceled within 72 hours of scheduled session may result in a non-refundable retainer fee in order to rebook.

CHANGE OF HEART POLICY

We understand that sometimes a certain look just isn’t for you. If you change your mind, you must pay to have the service(s) redone. Redos are determined by the original stylist on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of the service.

CHILD SAFETY POLICY

We understand how challenging it is finding time to spend for yourself. We also understand that your “me time” does not always align with your beauty sessions. We love seeing your children and watching them grow, but at the same time we must enforce a Child Safety Policy at Alter'd Mane Salon. We kindly request that children do not accompany parents to the salon during lengthy salon sessions. While this policy helps ensure that all guests enjoy a relaxing salon experience, it was created with your child’s safety in mind. Our salon is not child-proof. Sharp instruments, hot styling tools, chemicals, and a busy, congested area makes for a potentially dangerous environment for your young children. We greatly appreciate your compliance with our Child Safety Policy.

RETURN POLICY

We do not offer monetary refunds or exchanges on any services, retail products, and/or hair extension purchases. All sales are FINAL SALE.
