Alter'd Mane Salon is a laid-back luxury salon in Northwest Indiana where it is our goal to provide an atmosphere where our guests feel welcomed, relaxed, seen and understood. Alter'd Mane was founded by Kristie Broadway in 2021 and is located in Cedar Lake, IN.

I started coming to Delaney in the Summer of 2022 and then unfortunately had to move to Ohio. I STILL see Delaney, I drive 4 hours to come see her, every 12ish weeks because I do not want ANYONE else to do my hair, Delaney is the best! You will love every second your are in her chair. She’s so kind, she’s not intimidating, the whole atmosphere is calming and you always know what you’re about to spend so you never have to sit there worrying about anything.

ambience was exceptional, it felt like more of a visit to someone's beautiful living room (nearly Archectural Digest Magazine level) than a hair salon which was a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend this place.
My color turned out better than I could have imagined. The haircut was also excellent.
